Markus Brillinger

Markus Brillinger leads the research group Cognitive Production Systems at Pro2Future, an Austrian research center investigating digitalization in future production systems. His research interests include production engineering, cognitive production, and 3D-printing. His research has won numerous awards and prizes. As educating future engineers is one of his passion, he is a lecturer at two universities. Furthermore, he is a member of different industrial networks supporting the application of research in industry. Before joining Pro2Future Markus was the CEO of a consulting company in production optimization and successfully completed a PhD in production engineering. During his PhD he developed a fundamental new 3D-printing technology, which has disruptive potential in this field of technology.

MADALENA VICTORINO, lecciona em múltiplas instituições de Ensino Superior em Portugal e no estrangeiro. Desde 2014 coordena o projecto MIRAGEM, para a Câmara Municipal de Odemira, trazendo as artes performativas regularmente a todas as escolas do concelho. Em 2015 recebe a distinção de Mulher Criadora de Cultura pelas Secretárias de Estado da Cultura Isabel Botelho e a Secretária de Estado para a Cidadania e Igualdade.

GIACOMO SCALISI, entre 2011 e 2012 criou e dirigiu, como director artístico, a rede inter-municipal MOVIMENTA-TE - TRAJECTÓRIAS DE PROGRAMAÇÃO CULTURAL EM REDE, um projecto com e sobre Faro, Loulé, S. Brás de Alportel, Olhão e Tavira. Desde 2011 é consultor da Fundação de Serralves no Porto. Entre 2013 e 2014 foi consultor artístico, juntamente com Madalena Victorino, do Festival de Artes VISEU A… - uma iniciativa do Teatro Viriato. Em 2014 fundou, em conjunto com Madalena Victorino, sua colega e companheira de vida, a LAVRAR O MAR COOPERATIVA CULTURAL CRL.

CANDELARIA LÓPEZ ROMERO is an Architect by the University of Seville, where she has also completed a Master in Architecture and Sustainable City. Co-founder of ARTIPICA Creative Spaces: a space for research and urban, architectural and artistic creation. Her professional practice deals with the construction and regeneration of the contemporary city and its architecture through creative interventions. She has extensive experience in urban projects, building, ephemeral architecture, scenography, museography, exhibition design, interior design and furniture. She has been awarded the COAM prize and was a finalist in the FAD awards for one of her exhibition designs.

MARÍA F. CARRASCAL PÉREZ is a PhD Architect and Lecturer in Architectural History, Theory and Composition, teaching at the University of Seville since 2008. Her work focuses on the regeneration of contemporary cities from the sector of creativity and culture. Responsible of the r&d&i project CREAfab: Creative Reindustrialization of Historic Centers, Andalusian Government (2022-24), and the creative industries program in the Management Plan for the Historic Municipal Heritage of Seville (2019-22). Cofounder of the international platforms Laboratorio Q: Places of Urban Creativity (2012-) and @dmujerand: Design and Women in Andalusia (2019-). She has been visiting scholar at Cornell University, Columbia University, POLIMI, UPC, among others. Cofounder of ARTIPICA, Creative Spaces (2011-), Spain.

Bibliotecária na Biblioteca da Universidade do Algarve. Licenciada em História, pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Pós-graduada como Bibliotecária-Arquivista, pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra. Mestrado em Biblioteconomia (M.A. in Librarianship) pela Universidade de Sheffield (UK). Doutorada em Ciências da Informação e Documentação, pela Universidade de Évora. É investigadora do CIDEHUS - Centro Interdisciplinar de História, Culturas e Sociedades da Universidade da Universidade de Évora. Integra, de momento, o Grupo Coordenador da Rede Intermunicipal das Bibliotecas do Algarve – BIBAL. Em dezembro de 2022 foi-lhe atribuído, pela Associação Portuguesa de Bibliotecários, Arquivistas e Profissionais da Informação e Documentação, o Prémio de Reconhecimento Profissional Maria José Moura.

Ana Maria MARTINHO GALE holds her faculty position at FCSH - Universidade Nova de Lisboa since 1989. She is an Associate Professor with Habilitation in the Department of Portuguese Studies, a Researcher in CHAM – Centro de Humanidades (where she coordinates the Permanent Seminar on African Studies) and an Associate Researcher in CREPAL (Université Sorbonne Nouvelle). She has a long-standing experience of research and teaching in Portugal (besides Universidade Nova de Lisboa, in Escola Superior de Educação de Portalegre, FLUL - Universidade de Lisboa and FCH - Universidade Católica), as well as abroad, notably in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Angola, Guiné-Bissau. She coordinates a Masters’ Program at FCSH in Portuguese SL/FL and is responsible for Seminars and Courses in all academic levels as well as for extensive supervision of theses and projects. She also serves in Editorial and Scientific Committees of Conferences and Journals and has authored 71 publications: books, editions, book chapters, international papers. Her work is centred in African Studies and in Literatures and Cultures from Portuguese Speaking Countries. Some monographs are Cânones Literários e Educação: os Casos Angolano e Moçambicano; The Protean Web: Literature and Ethnography in Lusophone Africa; Seminário Permanente em Estudos Africanos. She has written also on Literary Theory, Ecocriticism and authors like António Jacinto, Suleiman Cassamo, Ruy Duarte de Carvalho, Orlanda Amarílis, Pe. António Vieira, the writers of Mensagem - CEI. Current research is centred on one monograph as well as on two papers for peer-reviewed publications.
